The Power of Feedback

Session Highlights:

Feedback is arguably the most critical and powerful aspect of teaching and learning. Yet, there remains a paradox: why is feedback so powerful and why is it so variable?  And in a time of challenge for students to maintain their studies, how does feedback play a role in learner persistence?

Let’s explore our thoughts about feedback and research-based types of effective feedback to maximize student engagement and outcomes including:

  • the variability of feedback
  • student to teacher feedback
  • peer to peer feedback
  • the power of within lesson feedback and manageable post-lesson feedback.

Grab your lunch and join us from 12:30 – 1:30 p.m.
